About Us
Ryan and Melanie met in the fall of 1998 while attending Kelsey. At the time, Ryan was living
with his two brothers, Terry and Brent, in the infamous sutherland trailer. Melanie
had just moved to the city and was boarding with her aunt Maryanne. After a few
short weeks at school together, they were dating.
Throughout the relationship they have faced many distance challenges.
Ryan had to move to the farm for a while and when he finally got back into the city,
he was commuting to Calgary every week for nearly 8 months.
Now Ryan is back in the Saskatoon and works for his uncle Paul Cey as an
apprentice plumber. Melanie is a second year
Computer Systems Technology student and will graduate in May 2001.
Our Engagement
Ryan proposed to Melanie on December 17, 1999 right after Melanie's last final
exam before Christmas. They were at a red light on circle drive when Ryan simply
suggested that there should be something in the glove box for Melanie. Oh...
how romantic. :o)
